Tornoto crooner Romeyo Wilson makes a soundtrack for romance with EP Breakfast in Bed
Rumors of the demise of the romantic man in R&B are definitely exaggerated. There are no shortage of crooners who know how to make music that provides the soundtrack for every aspect of a romantic experience - from the time two pairs of eyes connect and a spark is established to the moment when the lights get turned off in the bedroom.
And with his seductive and steamy EP "Breakfast in Bed," Toronto based love man Romeyo Wilson establishes himself as the kind of singer who will give the brothers exactly what they need. "Breakfast in Bed" is a seven track master class on how the modern day balladeer speaks the language of love and intimacy to the ladies.
Romeyo Wilson talks about how real life experiences inspired him to make a this intimate piece of art.
“Many of the songs on ‘Breakfast In Bed’ were inspired by the women that have crossed my path and the experiences we have had together, along my journey. This EP is a very raw and uncut project, without me feeling like I had to censor myself. It is sexy bedroom baby making music, and it is my most mature project so far, with listeners getting to see parts of me that they have never seen before. I hope it shows the growth in my music and sets the tone for what’s to come from me in 2022”.
Wilson paints pictures in words and metaphors on a title track title track that finds him pledging to satisfy all of his woman's appetites, while the agnst filled, self reflective "Losing All Control" allows the singer to show is vulnerable side as he senses that he's not the one running things in a relationship and there appears to be nothing he can do about it.
Wilson's flair as a writer, his buttery tenor that allow him to infuse modern R&B with a classic vocal style that come through on the hot lead singles "Keep Your Heels On" and "Sex You Up" have captured the attention of tastemakers within the industry, including Rolling Out Magazine and Shifter Magazine while his music is featured on playlists on both Apple Music and Spotify.
