The nominations are in!

In 2020, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2020 will be inducted with the prestegious honor on May 2, 2020 in Cleveland, Ohio, and the nominees have been announced.

Among the list of 16 nominees, music icons Whitney Houston and Rufus Featuring Chaka Khan made the list.

Believe it or not, this is Houston's first time scoring a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nomination, and this makes Rufus featuring Chaka Khan’s fourth nomination (the Chicago-based band was first nominated in 2011).

Artists/bands are eligible for nomination if they've released their first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination.

As fans, you can voteon who should in ducted into the 2020 class. Until January 10, 2020, Google search “Rock Hall Fan Vote” or any nominee name plus “vote” to cast a ballot with Google. You can also vote at rockhall.com or at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland.

The top five artists selected by the public will comprise a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to choose the 2020 inductees.
