Rice is making waves in the music industry with a fusion of Hip-Hop, Rap, Pop, and World music. The artist draws inspiration from heavyweights like Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, J.Cole, Drake, and Juice WRLD, channeling their cadence, versatility, and creativity. In a recent interview, Rice shared insights into his latest single, "Blog It." The genesis of the song unfolded unexpectedly during a photoshoot. Jeremy, the engineer/producer collaborating with Rice, suggested exploring beats while waiting for a photographer. They stumbled upon the magic of JJ Lundin's "Blog It" beat, leading to the spontaneous creation of the track. Despite initial challenges in connecting with the producer, Rice persevered and eventually secured the exclusive rights to the beat, marking a significant breakthrough in their collaboration. Walking us through the creative process, Rice explained that the melody laid the foundation, guiding the cadence and lyrics. The biggest challenge arose from scheduling conflicts with the producer, which was overcome through persistence and determination. Rice emphasized the importance of building relationships and collaborations for future projects.

"Blog It" carries a profound message, reflecting the journey of overcoming struggles and adversities. Rice aims to connect with listeners who resonate with the theme of survival and resilience, especially those coming from humble beginnings. The artist is not seeking excessive attention in the entertainment industry but rather intends to spread positive energy through his music. One of Rice's notable performances was at the 25th Anniversary of the Doug Flutie Jr Foundation at Fenway. Sharing the stage with legends like Shawn Stockman, Boyz II Men, Kodie Lee, and Paulie D, the event drew a crowd of 5000 people and was televised live on WGBH. Rice also celebrated the 50th anniversary of Hiphop in Central Park, honoring the Flutie 5K runners and networking with industry figures.

Looking ahead, Rice is set to perform at Norwood's Flutie Foundation featured artist event at Jersey Mike's Grand Opening on February 14th. Fans can stay updated on his upcoming performances and projects through his social media channels. Rice's journey reflects not only his musical prowess but also his resilience and commitment to spreading positive vibes in the industry.
