Following the release of her 2017 single "The Real Thing Don't Change," Memphis-based singer/songwriter Porcelan releases "Lois Lane." 

The slow jam is based off of the comic book character of the same name who is often saved by the likes of Superman and Batman. However, in Porcelan's case, she assumes the role of Lois Lane, asking her own personal superhero to save her from the heartbreakers.

She sings lyrics such as: "Cuz I need for you to come and save me / From all the bad ones for me / I'm ready to be Lois Lane / ...Put on your cape, I need you."  

"Every woman wants a strong man in their lives that makes them feel secure,"
mentions Porcelan. "The ideal fancy is to be swept off your feet and protected by a strong man who will rescue you from anything that can bring you harm, and Superman's love for Lois Lane, symbolizes that," she adds.
