P!nk Performs "What About Us" & "Beautiful Trauma" On SNL

On Saturday (Oct. 14th), Pink (Alicia Moore) took the stage as the musical guest on the Saturday Night Live, making the appearance her third time as a performer on the show.
She sang two songs from her new album Beautiful Trauma, the title track (which already has more than six million views on Youtube since its released on September 28) and “What About Us?,” the official first single.
In true P!nk form, she belted out each song, proving she still has the vocal chops and powerhouse vocals. She changed from a lengthy tweed vest while singing “What About Us?,” to a bright pink pink vest and a long, green plaid skirt for "Beautiful Trauma" performance.
Both songs allude to Moore's rocky 11-year marriage to Carey Hart. In a recent interview with The Guardian, Moore said, “There are moments where I look at [Hart] and he is the most thoughtful, logical, constant … he’s like a rock. He’s a good man. He’s a good dad. He’s just the kind of dad I thought he’d be and then some. And then I’ll look at him and go: 'I’ve never liked you. There’s nothing I like about you. We have nothing in common. I don’t like any of the sh-t you like. I don’t ever wanna see you again.' Then two weeks later I’m like, ‘Things are going so good, you guys.’”
