Nas, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Dave East, & Aloe Blacc Collab On “Wrote My Way Out”

Last month, "Hamilton" playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda released “Ben Franklin’s Song” which featured the Decemberists; it included leftover lyrics from the Hamilton musical that Miranda never used, and was a taste of a follow-up project to the 2016 Hamilton mixtape.

Now he's back with Nas, Dave East, and Aloe Blacc in tow in the video for “Wrote My Way Out,” the second release from the 2016 mixtape.

In the black and white clip, Miranda, Nas, Dave East, and Aloe Blacc perform the hard-hitting song on a NYC roof between clips of everyday people and common man's way of life.
