Kelechi Introduces latest album Conscious Conversational Rap
Kelechi is a native of Port Harcourt, Nigeria also known as P/H City. He’s a Hip Hop artist that enjoys creating music in different genres as well. When it comes to his music the listener will gain a lot from his conscious conversational rap style. There were no young Afrobeats artists as it is now that inspired him as a teenager growing up in P/H city in the 90s. However, the Nigerian artist that influenced him was Fela Kuti who he has seen in concert a couple of times. He was also influenced by Hip Hop artists such as Tupac, Biggie, KRS-One, Nas, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang, Rakim, DJ Quik, Onyx, Brand Nubian, Xzibit, Cormega, AZ, The Diplomats, Dr. Dre, The Lox, Busta Rhymes, Ice Cube, and DMX. In honor of his musical style, Kelechi’s latest project is titled “Conscious Conversational Rap”.
