Jenevieve Releases New EP Rendezvous
Rising R&B artist Jenevieve has released her anticipated new EP titled Rendezvous. A six track shimmering body of work, the EP features previously released single “Love Quotes” which came with a music video today. The single nestles perfectly alongside slow burners like “CaNdY LiEs” and “MDMA” as well as dance floor ready hit, “2NLuv.” Produced by longtime collaborator Benziboy, listen to the EP in full below and watch the music video for “Love Quotes” above.
With her tantalizing blend of supple melodies and soul-baring lyrics — which have earned praise from Rolling Stone, Harper’s Bazaar, Pitchfork, NPR, and more — Jenevieve reminds us that the next class of women in music still has so much more to say. Outside of the studio, Jenevieve recently performed at Sacramento’s Sol Blume music festival and at Los Angeles’ iconic Hollywood Forever Cemetery with Jorja Smith. Earlier this year she released Division Deluxe, an extended version of her debut EP which featured all the shapeshifting songwriting Jenevieve has become known for, as well as guest spots from the likes of 2 Chainz and Ghostface Killah.
Jenevieve also announced recently that she will be hitting the road to support R&B luminary Giveon on his “Give or Take” tour — kicking it all off in Los Angeles, CA next week at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on September 15th. For a full tour routing please see below:
