The Urban Influencer reported earlier this year that rapper, DMX, was sent to prison for tax fraud. Despite spending the next year behind bars, he is continuing to work on music and has received offers for movies and books.

Although the artist remains in jail, DMX’s attorney reports that he “looks great, is very happy, and overall, doing remarkably well.” In addition to being offered movie and book deals, DMX intends to continue making music while in prison. He also continues to receive hundreds of fan letters from around the world.

DMX is currently being held at the Metropolitan Correction Center in New York where he waits to be transferred to FCI Danbury, a prison famous for its appearance in such shows including “Orange is the New Black” and “Weeds.”
