Diquan released a single on February 13, 2020 entitled La La Land that's available on all digital formats. He has been featured in the Unsigned Hype magazine in South Carolina is currently working on an EP as a follow up to the single. Diquan receives love from his hometown and community. He is seeking worldwide recognition, and his goal is to attain it one fan at a time. Diquan has his sights set on taking his career to the next level and refuses to take shorts until he reaches his goal.

The Church has always been a haven for hope and despair. It has also been called the incubator and origin for several artists who have catapulted to success. For several families, it was an unwritten law that if your parents went to church growing up so did you whether you wanted to or not. Diquan’s home practiced this rule. For Diquan, singing was once thought of a burden that eventually grew into a blessing. The music of the church was the proving ground for his continued path. A forced act
became a lifestyle and career choice.  

Diquan is a product of a musical family from South Carolina. Music was already in his DNA, and it was a natural rite of passage for it to exchange hands to his. His authenticity allows him to dictate his own lane.  
Growing up with the pressures of being a black male can be challenging enough. Coupled with insecurities from poverty, and weight issues doubled that already heavy burden. By the time Diquan entered his senior year in high school, his load became a bit lighter. Diquan matured into a balanced young man while finding his own voice at the same time.

Diquan is a triple threat: singer, song writer, and producer. Turning dreams into a reality isn't just a cliche. He's not afraid to put the work in to get the job done. Diquan is a superhero in his daughters’ eyes and is on a constant daily grind to be great for her as she learns from the example he is setting. His favorite quote is self-penned “Work ethic breaks the back of incompetence. - Diquan Julius Stevie Wonder, Charlie Wilson, and Luther Vandross raised the bar for love songs. Every artist has a story to tell; how you weave your tale is what's going to set you apart from the rest. Diquan wants to bring the authentic R&B back that unapologetically expresses what love is and can be. Diquan writes from the heart for everyone who struggles to navigate the daily struggle of unconditional love, hope and heartache.

In his spare time, Diquan writes for other up-and-coming artists and frequently attends open mics, and music showcases.
