Boston Rapper/Singer Caye Reminisces On Chill, New Single "Top Shelf"

Multi-talented, Boston-born-and-raised rapper/singer Caye premiered his chill new single “Top Shelf" today via ThisSongIsSick.
The Dawgus-produced, jazz-infused track is effortlessly ethereal as Caye reminisces of carefree summer days drifting from the Hollywood Hills to Downtown LA. Before the sun goes down, he slyly caps it off with a smooth soulful turn while remaining nostalgic of the summer high.
Caye explains, “'Top Shelf' came together during our most stressful week of school, finals week. I was in my dorm room, unable to focus and procrastinating with my school work. I kept daydreaming about those sunny summer days where you just chill and enjoy life. So when you bump this track, grab a drink from the top shelf and savor the carefree times.”
The tune is a groove that gets even more chill towards the end, as the track turns jazzy reminiscent of a 90s hip-hop classic.
