Chicago rapper and R&B singer Tink has been grinding for a good while now, coming up through the ranks from her various mixtapes whch eventually caught the attention of Timbaland. He signed her to his label, but that arrangement didn't work out as planned. To the disatisfaction of her fans, her sound changed, and due to whatever business went south, she went back to being indie, where it seems she can creatively thrive.

She's back with a new mixtape called Voicemails. The 12-track project features a guest appearance from DeJ Loaf on “Ride It.”

Voicemails is Tink’s first mixtape since 2016’s Winter’s Diary 4. It also follows her March 2018 Pain & Pleasure EP, which was her first project since leaving Timbaland’s label.
