Hailing from Toronto, ON, R&B singer/songwriter Témi (pronounced TayMe) drops a song/video that praisies the ladies called "Motivation."

About the video, Témi says:

I’m very proud of my new video MOTIVATION. I wanted to shoot a video that stepped away from the normal bravado driven scope that most male videos are shot in. Although shot in a comedic light I wanted to display the strength of a woman. But not just that of the woman with the "perfect" shape, size or appearance. I wanted to show the strength and beauty in women of all walks of life. Too tall, too short, too big, too small, too feminine or not feminine enough. The strength is in their originality and the power to deal a big “F*CK YOU” to the pressures of society to match the idea of the worlds “perfect image”. The world isn’t perfect and neither are any of us that live on it. So I respect the beauty and power in all women, as the most powerful thing we can be is OURSELVES. Thank you to all the women that honored me with their cameos in this video. We all had an amazing time on set and I am grateful for you. And to EVERY woman out there that reads this or sees this video...LOVE yourself cuz I LOVE y’all...You are my MOTIVATION.

Born in Nigeria, raised in Toronto, Témi fell in love with music at a young age, He entered talent shows and contests to show off his talent. As he grew older he started to hear more and more Canadian and American soul music and knew this was his destiny. “Music for me, is the person I talk to about life. It doesn’t judge, it just listens.” Working solo for many years, Témi met some friends and they started a group called, Untitl3d. As Untitl3d, he and the group traveled to Atlanta, GA and were signed and recognized by celebrity rapper Ludacris’ label Disturbing Tha Peace (DTP) and Def Jam. With his former group, Témi has hit the stages of BET’s 106 N Park and featured with rapper Ludacris on MTV Jams. Signed to DTP he and the group continued their goals for about 5 years then the group decided to part ways. Témi is now focused on performing music that has a soulful and meaningful sound to it.
