In the middle of her biggest summer tour run so far, which has seen her performing at some of Canada’s biggest festivals including Canadian Music Week, NXNE, FEQ 2019, and Osheaga Festival, with further performance stops at Festival de Musique Émergente, Up Here Festival and OUMF 2019, among others, rising Ethiopian-born Montreal rapper NAYA ALI is excited to unveil the captivating new music video for her latest single titled "Get It Right" exclusively premiered via Clash Magazine.

Signed to Coyote Records/Universal Music, Naya Ali comes on the back of recent support from tastemaker such as Complex, Highsnobiety, VICE, Spotify, Apple Music, and Hype Machine, among others, with over half a million streams already under her belt. Her 2018 track "Ready To Go" also has
over 15 million views on YouTube as part of Parks Canada's recent ‘Memories Await You’ campaign.

At last year's MURAL Festival, Naya Ali opened for Pusha T and Playboi Carti, and this August, she becomes the first female rapper and the only anglo rapper from Quebec to perform at Canada's Osheaga Festival, which is being headlined by Childish Gambino and Janelle Monae. On the back of ‘Get It Right’, and her well-received debut EP Higher Self from last November, Naya is now currently
working on her debut album Godspeed, which is set for release in February 2020.

Speaking about the inspiration for her ‘Get It Right’ video, Naya Ali says, “The visuals are about breaking free from the ‘sunken place’. I felt like I was trapped for so long in a state of mind that had me forget who I really was, so I had to break free and escape by killing a part of myself that I had outgrown. The dark
and symbolic visual is a Kanye-esque canvas, inspired by Stanley Kubrick meets Jordan Peele”.
