Ebhoni's rise continues with the release of new project

You know you're hot when non other than Rhianna asks you to be the face of her groundbreaking beauty line Fenty. That's how Tornoto based R&B artist Ebhoni is living. Listening to Ebhoni and it's easy to see why Rhianna was so impressed. Ebhoni brings a lot to the table, including an abilty to fuse the musicial influences that come from her background into an infectious brew that includes nods to hip-hop, R&B and reggae music that she heard her grandmother played.

It all comes together on Ebhoni's new project Good Dick & Weed. She gave the world a sneak peak in June with the driving funk/rock fusion on "Rep It," a track that found her exorcising the demons of a bad relationship.

She's definitely and defiantly over it, as tracks like "Rotation" show. This banger shows a woman who is fully in control the money in her pockets and the dudes on blowing up her phone.

Ebhoni views this project as a work of empowerment that will she hopes will encourage those who are often ignored to find their voice. “I really have been through so much, and it’s important to show that to help others who might not have that platform.”
