Chitown Artist Taylor Mallory Drops New Video 'Way Back' feat. DJ Ajonra
Chi-town "looping" artist Taylor Mallory releases his video for "Way Back" from his latest album "Take Control."
The music video is about time and stems from a personal experience between the two artists.
"We were both real busy and lost our connection as friends and family. It also has some religious undertones as well; 'When I used to look to the hills and I saw what you had coming' is a line regarding my deflection from God and how I tried to find my own way without his direction. All in all, it's a vulnerable and personal piece," he explains.
In addition, Mallory is partaking in a 52 Week Song Challenge that he's hashtagged as #52WeekSongChallenge. The goal is to be consistent and grow as a songwriter and showcase to fans his versatility. He'll drop the songs every Sunday on Instagram (here). Mallory is a looping artist in which he records layers upon layers live in real-time in front of an audience to create an entire performance.
