Berklee College of Music Student Haley Urbo Releases "Iridescent" Album
Haley Urbo is a singer, pianist, and songwriter based in Boston. Originally from Indianapolis, she vocally trained with multiple choirs for 12 years. She self taught piano from a young age, and credits this unconventional route for her deep-rooted understanding of harmony and music theory that radiates through her music. She is currently dual majoring in vocal performance and music business management at Berklee College of Music, and will graduate in May.
She enjoys studying and playing neo-soul, jazz, R&B, and hip-hop and is influenced by artists like Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Frank Ocean, Snoh Aalegra, and Daniel Caesar. She will debut original music with Iridescent on February 28th, and aims to use this EP to break genre barriers and contribute to a new wave of music that fuses jazz, soul, R&B, and hip-hop.

The simplicity of strikingly honest lyrics like "just as fast as the sun sets, you became my whole world- you became my home" and "will you let me down as easy as I fell for you" earnestly unveil a beautiful vulnerability that shines through her effortlessly soulful yet intimate vocals.
