Wrekonize - Knuckle Dragging

Here's a new video from ¡Mayday!'s Wrekonize, for "Knuckle Dragging", off his 2017 solo LP, Into the Further.

Wrek says of the song, "Knuckle dragging came to me when I was eating in a restaurant and saw some customers being rude to a server. It reminded me of my days in food service and really any job for that matter where people can mistreat you. It’s such an internal struggle to not completely lose your cool and go off on them risking your place at that job. I imagined regressing back into a caveman to take revenge and trashing the whole spot. Since i've always been such a passive guy, the only way to justify losing my cool was to go full caveman on them."

The new video caps off a long year of promo for the Strange Music MC. Aside from Wrek's solo project, 2017 also saw the release of his group ¡Mayday!'s Search Party album which featured the fan favorite "Airplane Mode" and "Long Night" featuring label boss, Tech N9ne. Known for their relentless touring schedule year after year, ¡Mayday! will end March's month full of shows in their hometown of Miami this Saturday night at The Blackbird Ordinary.
