Who Bit Beyoncé? The Year’s Most Unusual Celebrity Mystery

Social media went into a frenzy after comedian, Tiffany Haddish, revealed in a GQ interview that she witnessed someone bite Beyoncé. Haddish alleges that an unnamed female actress bit Beyoncé on the face at an after-party following a Jay-Z concert in December.

After the discovery of this information, Beyoncé’s publicity team was contacted for information, about which her representative, Yvette Noel-Schure said, “I absolutely cannot comment on any of this, as I have no knowledge.”

Soon after the incident at the party, Haddish told Beyoncé that she was going to beat the actress up, but Beyoncé convinced her not to and that the actress was on drugs. 

With the release of the GQ interview, social media investigators and Beyoncé fans began searching for any clues to solve the mystery. #WhoBitBeyonce trended on Twitter, and other celebrities even began contributing.

Model, Chrissy Teigen, tweeted “I can only think of one person who would do this. But I cannot say. But she… is the worst.”

Fans also began assessing a list from the gossip column, The Cut, which published a list of confirmed attendees at the party including Rihanna, James Franco, French Montana, Queen Latifah, Sanaa Lathan, and Sara Foster. Fans wasted no time in taking to the social media pages of confirmed attendees with angry messages and bee emojis. Some of the celebrities including Foster have explicitly denied biting Beyoncé.

As the mystery continued, a name that became particularly popular as the culprit was Taraji P. Henson. However, Haddish posted to Twitter that it was not Henson, ending that theory.

As people continue to spin theories, it does not seem anyone is any closer to determining who bit Beyoncé.
