Vanessa Van D Brings Creative Flair to Holiday Music With New Christmas EP
Based in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, singer and songwriter Vanessa Van Deusen, professionally known online as Vanessa Van D, is introducing listeners to her creative interpretation of holiday music with her latest release, “Vanessa Van Deusen Christmas”. The mini Christmas EP showcases a different side of her artistry, combining her pop-centered musical approach with a willingness to experiment and explore new creative directions. Vanessa Van D describes her sound as pop at its foundation, although she prefers not to limit her creativity to a specific formula. Her approach to music allows her to incorporate her personality and artistic perspective into each release, giving her the freedom to develop a sound that reflects her individuality. Among her musical influences are Kesha and Sabrina Carpenter, two artists recognized for their distinctive approaches to pop music, confident performances, and engaging songwriting.
Her latest project,“Vanessa Van Deusen Christmas”, represents a departure from her usual songwriting style. Rather than following the creative approach listeners might expect from her previous material, she set out to create something different for the holiday season. Her intention was to develop an earworm and an anthem, crafting music that would stay with listeners beyond the initial play.
