He was inspired by powerful vocalists like Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, and Natalie Cole, and the sounds of Chaka Khan, the Isley Brothers, Heatwave, the Bar Kays, and Cameo filled his early years. As he grew older, his taste expanded into rock with bands like Kiss, Rush, Yes, and Styx. The arrival of Prince left a lasting impression, and he holds Mint Condition in high regard as one of the greatest bands of all time.
His latest single “Sweet Spot” is a jazz fusion track that showcases both his musical depth and creative patience. The song began as a simple bass groove he played while practicing.
