The Weather Girls are representing San Francisco, California. The musical journey of The Weather Girls has been shaped by some of the greatest voices in music history. Among the strongest influences is the late Izora Rhodes Armstead (their mother), whose talent and spirit helped create the foundation of the group's legacy. Other major inspirations include Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Sarah Vaughan, and Billie Holiday, whose powerful artistry continues to inspire generations of performers.

Their new single, "Spell on Me," came together through a special creative experience. The group had the opportunity to work with acclaimed producer Lorenzo Johnson, whose impressive career includes four Top 10 albums and three Grammy nominated projects, including his work with Ledisi on the album "Lost and Found." During the recording process, longtime friend Terri B., a respected producer, songwriter, and Billboard Dance chart topping artist, also played an important role in bringing the song to life.

From the beginning of the creative process, everything developed naturally. The songwriting experience was built on honest conversations, shared experiences, and a strong cultural connection. For one of the first times in their songwriting journey, there were no creative barriers. The lyrics and melodies flowed with ease, creating a song rooted in trust, experience, and genuine emotion. "Spell on Me" carries a message that speaks to listeners of all ages. The song reflects the belief that love can find anyone, regardless of where they are in life. Inspired by a saying often shared by Izora Rhodes Armstead, "Every pot has a lid, you just gotta find yours baby," the song offers hope, romance, and the reminder that meaningful love is always possible.
