About Project Pat:

Project Pat (b. Patrick Houston) began his career with appearances on his brother Juicy J's early releases with DJ Paul in the early 1990s. After serving several years in prison for robbery charges and disappearing from recording, he re-emerged in 1999 with the solo album Ghetty Green, released on his brother's Hypnotize Minds label. He became an unofficial member of Juicy and Paul's newly established group Three 6 Mafia, and first gained mainstream attention when he provided the hook for the group's hit single "Sippin' on Some Syrup" in 2000.

Houston released his breakthrough second studio album Mista Don't Play: Everythangs Workin' on February 27, 2001. The singles "Chickenhead" and "Don't Save Her" gained national radio airplay as well as music videos frequently played on BET and MTV. Shortly after the release of Mista Don't Play Houston was charged with a parole violation and began a 4-year prison sentence after illegal guns were discovered in his car during a traffic stop. His third album Layin' Da Smack Down was released in 2002 shortly after the beginning of the sentence and featured a music video made for "Make Dat Azz Clap".

After his release from prison in 2005 he released Crook by da Book: The Fed Story which came in on #64 on the Billboard 200, selling about 40,000 copies in its first week. The first single off the album was "Good Googly Moogly" featuring DJ Paul and Juicy J.

After Houston was released from his deal with Columbia Records, he signed with Koch Records, now known as E1 Music. His fifth studio album Walkin' Bank Roll was released in 2007 and debuted at number 45 on the Billboard 200. The lead single from the album was "Don't Call Me No Mo'" featuring Three 6 Mafia. His sixth studio album Real Recognize Real was his first major release for the label Asylum Records. The album featured the hit single "Keep It Hood" featuring OJ da Juiceman. It debuted at #8 on the Top Rap Albums Chart, with about 8,800 copies sold in the first week of release. On July 19, 2011 Houston released his 7th studio album Loud Pack on Hypnotize Minds & his newly founded label Project Records.

On March 28, 2013, Houston announced that his next album would be titled Mista Don't Play 2. The album featured the single "Be A G" and featured Juicy J, along with the late Doe B. Juicy J also produced half of the album.

On August 15, 2016, Houston appeared on the J. Sims song Visa, which appeared on the Mattrix Mixtape: We're Going Worldwide, Vol 5 compilation, presented by Matthew Rix. He recently released his album titled M.O.B. in September 2017.

About Kidd Ray:

From the new generation of hip-hop emerges 15-year-old New Orleans-based rapper Kidd Ray from G.W.O.P. Inc Music Group. Kidd Ray began learning the art of music and developing his own musical style at the age of 7 years old. Surprisingly Kidd is a fan of largely Old School rap from Death Row Records to No Limit and Cash Money Records he clearly has a passion for hip-hop. Kidd was also heavily inspired and taught by two amazingly talented hip-hop artists; his father Maserati 5ive and BlaXuede, whom both motivated him to learn his craft and express himself through music which helped him to become a talented writer & rapper.

Kidd took the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina to begin taking interest in both writing songs and playing music. “My whole city was destroyed, my dad was in the penitentiary, and my mom had both me and my sister trying to do everything by herself. Things were rough, and to be honest, I turned to music as an outlet to keep my mind off things.” Bouncing around from Houston and Atlanta after Hurricane Katrina Kidd finally settled back in the streets of Eastern New Orleans in 2007 where he began to develop his skill by co-writing songs for his sister who was a regional finalist on “ The X-Factor ” and by helping his newly freed dad Maserati 5ive around the studio.

Kidd Ray dealt with a multitude of adversity and personal challenges which eventually led to a serious bout with depression the likes of which would lead to the hospitalization of Kidd in a mental institution for weeks at a time. “It was kind of weird; I would be fine and then just like that I would feel as though my whole world was ending. My mom and dad never gave up on me, and I could see that it was tearing them apart.” Kidd battled with these demons until one day he wrote a song called “ No More ” in which Kidd says he let go of all the anger he was holding in and refused to give up. “I was watching a DMX video on YouTube and was like yo he’s just like me. I was so inspired by the interview I downloaded the Slippin instrumental wrote "No More," and that was it. My dad was so impressed, he and my mom almost forced me to follow the music, and I’m so glad I did. With over 50 songs (which includes two LP’s recorded and dropped within his first year) the sky is apparently the limit for this talented teen.
