So-Cal Quartet Watch For Horses Drops New Single "San Junipero"
So-Cal quartet Watch For Horses is an American indie rock band from Norwalk, California, formed in 2011. The band consists of Joshua Borja, Julian Chavez, Bryant Genuino and Ralph Tafoya. United, the musical ensemble seeks to use their sound as a way of expressing what words cannot. “Music lends itself to every emotion. Every feeling. Every instinct. Music can bring you back to a time or place. It has such a profound effect on the human mind” confides Tafoya.
Their new single "San Junipero" features the band's signature style of infectious twangy guitars, dynamic rhythm sections and laid-back West Coast vocals. Think vintage The Killers meets Real Estate. The song found inspiration from an episode of the popular series “Black Mirror”. Based around the love story that happens between two people who are inherently different, the music is inspired by the dynamic of this unforeseen relationship. “The most intriguing part is that this all takes place in this alternative to heaven, called San Junipero” reveals Tafoya.

"San Junipero" follows the success of their previous EP The Evil Kid, which was added to rotation on LA’s World Famous KROQ and won them a place at the Vans Warped Tour.
