Sheila Carlito - Cartoon
Check out rising singer/songwriter Sheila Carlito's new single, "Cartoon," a sentimental ballad that lets his vocals and songwriting prowess shine.
Sheila is currently a songwriter with Roc Nation Publishing and has worked with producers and artists across all levels has been a creator for years now, but is only now that he's stepping forward into his own spotlight, exposing raw emotions and telling stories that he has not yet had the opportunity to tell.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Frank Ocean, Sheila Carlito captures emotional journeys like no one else does. With the first song on his EP starting with a simple opening statement - "two light-skinned minorities in love" - he takes listeners on a journey of transitions and endings. "The end of summer. That was the picture in my head all the months it took me to write the EP," says Carlito. "Those are the colors I want my listeners to see when they listen."
"Cartoon" is the first single off his debut EP, When A Flower Dies, It Never Feels Afraid, set to drop Friday, June 22nd.
