While the song was never previously serviced to radio, its original release received early attention from SoundCloud’s editorial team, which recognized Seńoj for her contemporary R&B sound, alluring vocals and Atlanta roots.

The editorial team also suggested that her music would appeal to fans of Ariana Grande, NAO and Sinéad Harnett.

Now, “Running” is being introduced to radio audiences as Seńoj continues to expand her creative work as a singer, songwriter and producer.

Beyond music, she is also developing Savor With Seńoj, a vegan lifestyle platform that brings together her interests in food, wellness and creative expression.

The platform offers another look at the ideas and interests that inform her work, while her music continues to evolve with her.

Q: “Running” is being reintroduced to audiences with a radio servicing campaign. What made you want to revisit the song at this point in your career?

Seńoj: “Running” represents an important part of my creative journey, and I think I’m in a different place now than I was when I originally released it. When you grow as an artist and as a person, you naturally hear your earlier work differently. I can appreciate where I was when I created the song while also recognizing how much I’ve learned since then. Bringing “Running” to radio gives the song an opportunity to reach people who may not have heard it the first time, and I’m excited about that.

Q: The song was never previously serviced to radio. What does it mean to officially introduce “Running” to radio listeners now?

Seńoj: It feels like an opportunity to let the song reach another audience. Sometimes a record can exist for a while before it finds the right moment or the right listeners. I’ve always believed “Running” had more room to connect with people, and radio gives it another avenue to do that. I’m also approaching the song with more experience and a greater understanding of who I am creatively, so I’m looking forward to seeing how listeners respond to it today.

Q: SoundCloud’s editorial team took notice of “Running” early in its release and described your music as contemporary R&B with an alluring quality. What did that recognition mean to you at the time?

Seńoj: It meant a great deal to me because independent artists put so much of themselves into their music, and you don’t always know how that music is going to be received. To have SoundCloud’s editorial team listen to “Running” and recognize something in the record was encouraging. It gave me confirmation that the music was reaching beyond the people immediately around me. It also reminded me that there are listeners and music professionals discovering your work even when you may not know they are paying attention.

Q: SoundCloud also mentioned Ariana Grande, NAO and Sinéad Harnett when suggesting artists whose fans might appreciate your music. How did you receive those comparisons?

Seńoj: I appreciated the comparisons because all three artists have distinctive identities and have created music that connects with people in different ways. At the same time, I’ve always wanted to develop a sound that feels like me rather than trying to sound like anyone else. My music is rooted in melody, emotion and contemporary R&B, but I’m still discovering different parts of my voice as an artist. Ultimately, I want people to recognize a Seńoj record because of what I bring to it.

Q: You’re an Atlanta native. How has Atlanta influenced your musical perspective?

Seńoj: Atlanta has had a major influence on me because of the creativity that surrounds the city. There is such a strong musical culture here, and you’re exposed to different sounds, styles and personalities. I think growing up in that environment encouraged me to be comfortable with individuality and to explore different sides of my creativity. Atlanta has always been part of my identity, so naturally it finds its way into how I see music and how I approach my artistry.

Q: You’re not only a singer, but also a songwriter and producer. What do those different roles allow you to bring to your music?

Seńoj: Being involved in different parts of the creative process allows me to communicate my ideas more completely. As a songwriter, I’m thinking about the message and the emotion behind the record. As a producer, I’m thinking about the sound, the atmosphere and how everything should come together. Then I get to step into the vocalist role and interpret what we’ve created. I enjoy being part of those different stages because it allows the music to feel personal from beginning to end.

Q: How has your approach to your artistry changed since you first released “Running”?

Seńoj: I’ve become more comfortable with my own timing. Earlier in my journey, I think there was more pressure to figure everything out quickly or to compare where I was with where someone else was. Now, I understand that every artist has a different path. I’m more willing to let my creativity develop naturally, and I’m also more open about allowing my different interests to exist alongside my music.

Q: One of those interests has now become Savor With Seńoj, your vegan lifestyle platform. Where did the idea come from?

Seńoj: Savor With Seńoj came from wanting to create a space that reflects another part of who I am. I’ve always enjoyed food, exploring different flavors and thinking about how what we consume connects to how we feel and live. I wanted to create something that allowed me to share that side of myself while also bringing creativity into the conversation around vegan living. It’s another way for me to connect with people, but through a different form of expression.

Q: What do you want people to discover through Savor With Seńoj?

Seńoj: I want people to see that vegan living can be enjoyable, flavorful and creative. I don’t want the platform to feel intimidating or overly complicated. I want it to be a place where people can discover recipes, ideas, food experiences and different approaches to lifestyle and wellness. As it develops, I would love to incorporate conversations, collaborations and other experiences that allow the platform to grow organically.

Q: How has your vegan lifestyle influenced the way you think about wellness?

Seńoj: It has made me more conscious of the choices I make and more curious about what goes into the food I eat. For me, wellness is not just one thing. It’s about paying attention to how you take care of yourself and creating habits that support the life you want to live. That awareness has also influenced my creativity because when I feel centered and intentional, I have more space to create and explore new ideas.

Q: Do you see a connection between your music and your work with Savor With Seńoj?

Seńoj:S Absolutely. Both are forms of creative expression, even though they may look very different from the outside. Music allows me to express myself through sound, lyrics and performance, while Savor With Seńoj allows me to explore food, lifestyle and wellness. At the center of both is my desire to create something authentic and connect with people. I don’t see myself as having to choose one creative lane when there are so many things that inspire me.

Q: The title “Running” can be interpreted in different ways. What does the song represent to you today?

Seńoj: Today, I think about “Running” as movement. Life is constantly changing, and there are times when you have to keep moving even when you don’t have every answer. The song means something different to me now because I have experienced more, learned more and understand myself better. I hear it as a reminder to keep going, trust yourself and remain open to where the journey can take you.

Q: What can listeners expect from you musically over the coming months?

Seńoj: I’m continuing to create and I’m excited about sharing more music. I want people to hear where I am now while also having the opportunity to discover some of the music they may have missed previously. I’m allowing the next projects to develop naturally, but there is definitely more ahead. I’m excited about continuing to grow and letting the music speak for where I am creatively.

Q: As you continue developing as an artist and expanding into lifestyle, what do you hope people take away from the world you are creating?

Seńoj: I hope people see that there are many dimensions to who I am. I’m a singer, songwriter and producer, but I’m also someone who is interested in food, wellness, creativity and living authentically. I don’t want to limit myself to one expression when there are so many things that inspire me. Whether someone discovers me through “Running,” another song or Savor With Seńoj, I want them to feel that what I’m sharing is genuine and connected to who I am.

Seńoj’s renewed focus on “Running” gives the certified smash a new opportunity to reach radio audiences while introducing listeners to the artist she has become since its original release.

At the same time, Savor With Seńoj expands her creative world into vegan living, food and wellness.

As a singer, songwriter and producer, Seńoj continues to explore new ways to express herself, connect with audiences and build a body of work that reflects the many dimensions of her creativity.
