Kenny Iko Releases New Single "Pretty Words"

Capitalizing on the new set of fans acquired from his 2026 BET Awards' performance, Chocolate City crooner Kenny Iko shares Leather Jackettt-produced R&B single "Pretty Words." Accompanied with a matching visualizer, the song was produced by Leather Jackettt (known for work with Ciara, Mario, and Normani) and blends traditional as well as contemporary elements of the soulful genre seamlessly.

“I wanted to make something that was sexy and would stick with you after the first listen. The beat is hypnotic; it pulls you in unexpectedly. I wanted to recreate the feeling of tossing a record on, catching a vibe, and just enjoying the moment with your person,” says The Voice alumni.

Hailing from Washington, D.C., Kenny Iko’s connection to music started early, leading church choir with his family.
