Independent recording artist Keith Eatmon, who is also known as The Variety Vocalist, continues to carve his lane in contemporary soul with the release of his latest single, “I Thought About Love.” He’s from Buffalo, New York, Eatmon brings with him a sound deeply rooted in Soul, R&B, Smooth Jazz, and Neo/Southern Soul, blending timeless emotion with modern musical polish. Inspired by the golden era of male R&B vocalists from the 1970s through the early 2000s, Eatmon’s style reflects the influence of powerhouse singers whose vocals are full of emotional depth.

As The Variety Vocalist, he embraces versatility. “I Thought About Love” was born from his desire to record an original love song that speaks from a place of reflection and maturity. The single was written, produced, and arranged by Nelson Braxton of the internationally acclaimed Braxton Brothers, bringing live instrumentation and layered harmonies that elevate the record’s emotional resonance. With vocals captured in intimate clarity by engineer Trammell Starks, the track offers a warm listening experience.

Eatmon explores the belief that love does not simply fade or run away, even when one attempts to turn away from it. Through reflective lyrics he offers listeners a moment to navigate relationships with awareness, intention, and faith. With “I Thought About Love,” Keith Eatmon continues to define himself as an artist grounded in authenticity and emotional storytelling.
