Joyce Wrice is staying "On One"
Spring is coming around the corner which means it's time to start getting those music playlist together to rock in the car, in the house, at the (socially distanced) gym and other places. One of the newest drops that will be at the top of those lists is the new single entitled "On One," by R&B singer/songwriter Joyce Wrice.
Against an uptempo groove produced by D'Mile, Wrice easily moves through the track singing about how feelings can cause hesitation to dive into a relationship while also explaining how great things would be if they were together. Joining her on the track is one of the most underrated MCs in hip-hop, Freddie Gibbs and their chemistry is present from the first line he spits. It's a soul/rap collaboration that is fresh but feels familiar at the same time.
With her album, Overgrown set for a March 19th release, Joyce Wrice is in position to become a household name off the strength of her latest single. Check out "On One" and enjoy a fresh slice of R&B /Hip Hop perfection.
