NYC-based femcee Cipherella brings a vivicious visual called "Dumb Dumb" to our attention.

The visual shot and edited by Zoe Map was conceptualized to denigrate celebrity gossip and the general public's interest in trivial subject matter. "Dumb Dumb" is a boom-bap anthem that features an all female cast of dancers popping and locking to Cipherella's thought provoking lyrics.

When asked about the song Cipherella said, "“I wrote ‘Dumb Dumb’ to express my frustrations with the dumbing down of society. I loath tabloid journalism and reality television, and hope people can find truth in more meaningful things. Hopefully viewers will connect with my message.”

From the moment Cipherella presses play on her ghetto blaster stereo viewers become enthralled by the hip imagery. She and her crew begin marching through a parking lot styled in matching denim outfits. Her opening rhyme, “true story everything I say you type. World of collision, catch my vision, hop my flight” alerts fans of the hip-hop cosmos she intends to take viewers on in “Dumb Dumb.”

With dreadlocks propped up like a queen wearing a crown, Cipherella raps unapologetically about her frustrations with people and society. “I’m on cloud nine and there’s no need for coming down because the people that surround me steadily astound me.”
