‘Emoji Movie’ Named Worst Picture of the Year

On the same weekend as the Oscars each year, the Golden Raspberry Awards are announced, which cast attention upon the worst performance and scripts.

This year the Emoji Movie was the big winner—or loser—with awards for worst picture, worst screen combo, and worst director.

Worst actress went to Tyler Perry in Boo! 2: A Medea Halloween, and worst actor went to Tom Cruise for The Mummy. Fifty Shades Darker received two awards including worst supporting actress, Kim Basinger, and worst sequel. Worst supporting actor went to Mel Gibson in Daddy’s Home 2, and Baywatch earned the honor of being “so bad you loved it.”
