DeeAnn DiMeo, who releases music under the name Deeann on streaming platforms, continues to build her catalog with a sound rooted in Jazz, R&B, and Soul. Originally from Niagara Falls, New York, she draws inspiration from respected vocalists and musicians including Natalie Cole, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Sade, Roberta Flack, Diana Krall, Lalah Hathaway, Jill Scott, Luther Vandross, Gladys Knight, and Karen Carpenter. Her newest single, Keep Coming Back to You, reflects her appreciation for timeless melodies, expressive vocals, and thoughtful songwriting.

The song began when producer William Green shared the instrumental tracks with DiMeo. She quickly connected with the music, wrote the melody and lyrics, recorded a demo, and sent it back for review. The final recording took place in Atlanta with live musicians including William Green, Melvin Baldwin, Donna Hawkins, Spencer Green, Karen Bryant, and featured guest Dee Lucas. Melvin Baldwin handled the mix, while Brian Murphree mastered the recording in Nashville, Tennessee. DiMeo describes the recording process as a natural progression that allowed the song to develop with each session. Through the lyrics, she explores the idea of returning to a connection that provides strength and comfort, leaving listeners to interpret whether that bond is rooted in love or faith. Fans can experience the new music live when DeeAnn DiMeo performs at The Velvet Note in Alpharetta, Georgia, on August 29, with shows scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
