Recorded at Refuge Temple COGIC in Aberdeen, Maryland, Whitley’s home church, the project holds special significance in his musical journey.

It was at Refuge Temple COGIC that he began singing solos at just eight years old, establishing an early foundation for a life rooted in music, faith and ministry.

Released in 2026 during this year’s Power Conference, The Power Conference Live brings together original songs, featured vocalists, live musicians and the Power Conference Choir.

The project captures the spirit of collective worship while reflecting the conference’s mission to empower the church, strengthen the community and enrich the culture.

“This conference this year was incredible! Our church was empowered, our community was strengthened and our culture is being enriched,” said Danton Whitley Sr.
