Cover Drive Unveils Enigmatic, New Track And Visual "Love Isn't Easy"

Platinum-selling Bajan quartet Cover Drive return with their brand new track and the accompanying visual, "Love Isn’t Easy" following the release of their previous two singles "Grapefruit Perrier" and "Breakdown."

A powerful and emotional track, "Love Isn’t Easy" showcases Cover Drive like never before through the acoustic led production, lyrical vulnerability and Amanda’s moving vocal performance. The self-written and produced track and visual are a true testament to the band’s independent mindset and work rate, with every aspect of the release having been completed in-house.

Speaking on the track, Cover Drive shared, “Our musical journey has been one huge rollercoaster ride. From #1’s and top 10 records to trying to continually conform to fit gatekeepers’ preconceived ideas of who we are and how we should sound. It sometimes feels like we have been in a never-ending cycle of chasing a high we might never experience again but we just can’t stop. With ‘Love Isn’t Easy’, we tried to capture all of those emotions and fit them into a song.”

Set to be taken from their forthcoming EP due out in 2018, Cover Drive have spent the best part of the last two years touring the US college circuit, producing their reality web series ‘Chasing CD’ and hard at work in the studio alongside the likes of Boi-1Da (Drake, Tinashe), Angela Hunte (Alicia Keys, Britney Spears) and Will IDAP (Jessie J, Nico & Vinz).
