Charles Freeman - Say
Toronto-based, Panamanian-Canadian singer Charles Freeman releases his new single "Say," the follow-up to his previous single "This Ain't Love." Both songs showcase Freeman's atmospheric voice exposed to layers of pulsating dreamy contemporary effects over production by Toronto based newcomers Polson Pier & MKSTN.
Charles Freeman’s melodic crooning and awe-striking vocal range have drawn comparisons from Ed Sheeran to Majid Jordan. With a voice that will cut open your soul, Freeman engulfs the clever wordplay of his lyrics through his renowned unmistakable vocal and aching falsetto that’s both raw and delicate yet, emotionally, enormous in scope.
Last June, Charles released his debut five-track EP, ANGEL, going on to be featured on TIDAL’s TIDAL Rising platform and R&B WW playlist that was preempted by the lead single “SUMMERLAND” which peaked at #20 on Spotify’s Viral Hits Canada following placements on New Music Friday and Canadian pop playlists. The follow-up single “LOVE YOURSELF” was featured by Deezer, placed in their popular Chill Out playlist.
To date, Charles is preparing to release his second EP, ANODYNE which is scheduled for release on June 8th.
