This week NBC announced that May 24th will be this year's Red Nose Day, which will harness star power across the entertainment industry to raise money to fight childhood poverty. Along with a special edition of “Hollywood Game Night” will be a celebrity edition of "American Ninja Warrior".

The television special will kick off at 8 p.m. ET/PT and feature an all-celebrity cast competing in the same obstacle-course fashion as American ninja warriors. Throughout the program, Red Nose Day host, Chris Hardwick, will provide live updates from New York regarding how much money is raised. Viewers can make call-in donations that go toward providing healthcare and education to impoverished children.

Celebrities who competed in last year’s Celebrity Ninja Warrior included Stephen Amell, star of “Arrow,” dancer, Derek Hough, and actress, Erika Christensen. The list of this year’s celebrities has not yet been announced.
